A WORK of art in Torrington skate park will be a lasting memorial to young Daylin Brown, whose untimely death has made such an impact on the town. In tribute to the popular 16-year-old, who died in a road accident last month, local graffiti artist "Ican" has depicted Daylin on a wall at the skate park.

The artist, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the Gazette: "I used to see Daylin when he came into the park to play football. He was a really nice kid and I thought it would be good to do something to remember him. The family have been to the park to see it and mourners walked past after Daylin's funeral. It was very touching.
