AN Ilfracombe couple enjoyed a big day to remember on Saturday as their marriage was filmed for the next series of the popular Four Weddings reality television show.
Daniel Turton and Kerry-Ann Holloway were married at Holy Trinity Parish Church by Fr Robert Harris before joining their 420 wedding guests for their reception at Ilfracombe Rugby Club - and the cameras were on hand to catch it all.
The couple were being filmed by an ITV crew for series three of the Four Weddings show, set to air on Living TV some time next year.
The format for the show sees four brides attend each other's special day and then cast a critical eye over the festivities, all in a bid to win a dream honeymoon worth 10,000. The weddings under the microscope often range from the conventional to the bizarre!

"They didn't get in the way at all," said Kerry-Ann.

"They take you aside to interview you about the wedding, but generally they just filmed people having a laugh and found out what they thought about the day - and of course take the other the brides off to see what they thought."
Kerry-Ann, who is a registered manager at a residential home for the elderly and Danny, a chartered accountant, have a six-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
With a marquee, bouncy castles, ice cream, barbecue and hog roast on the pitch at Ilfracombe Rugby Club plus 420 family and friends enjoying themselves whilst and overhead crane filmed everything, they certainly had a day to remember.
There was even an unannounced "Beyonce" dance routine by the multi talented players of Combe Martin Football Club's first team - which Danny coaches - complete with leotards, fishnets and wigs!
"The crew said it was the biggest wedding they had ever filmed," said Kerry-Ann.
"It was an absolutely amazing day and I can't believe the weather held out for us. If we don't win we come away with nothing but it's been a brilliant experience and the other brides have been lovely."
If the couple win Four Weddings, they will be thrilled, but if not they plan to rent a motor home and spend two weeks travelling Europe with their children - either way they say the experience has definitely been worthwhile.
