THERE is a new face on the streets of Ilfracombe following the appointment of a Town Warden.

Trisha White has been chosen by Ilfracombe Town Council, in partnership with Transform, to act as ambassador and link between residents, the council and other local organisations.

She has extensive experience in the community sector and will act as the council's "feet on the street," maintaining a high profile in the neighbourhood and addressing any issues or concerns residents may have.

Examples include keeping local people informed of services that are available, removing graffiti, working with students and young people or providing practical assistance to vulnerable members of the community.
