Ilfracombe man injured in alleged metal bar attack

POLICE in Ilfracombe would like to speak with witnesses to an early morning assault in the town. A 22-year-old local man suffered slight injuries to his arm as a result of the incident, which took place in Foxbeare Road at around 2.25am on Sunday, May 31.

POLICE in Ilfracombe would like to speak with witnesses to an early morning assault in the town.

A 22-year-old local man suffered slight injuries to his arm as a result of the incident, which took place in Foxbeare Road at around 2.25am on Sunday, May 31. It is alleged that a metal bar was used by the attacker.

Police arrested a 40-year-old Ilfracombe man on suspicion of assault. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until July 14.
