The 30-year-old was arrested after fatal collision at Knowle in August which killed Natalie Jones, 26, from Ilfracombe.

An Ilfracombe man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of Natalie Jones has been rebailed by police.

Enquiries into the death of the 26-year-old are continuing, a police spokesman confirmed.

The 30-year-old man was arrested days after the crash at Knowle on August 21, and will now answer bail on January 14, 2016.

Natalie was a passenger in a grey BMW and the other vehicle a green Toyota Yaris. They collided just before 5.45pm on Friday, August 21 between Braunton and Mullacott Cross.

Natalie was pronounced dead at the scene. In tributes to her, her sister Kayleigh Porter described her as having a ‘heart of gold’.

Police are also wish to speak to the owner of what appears to be a light blue Nissan Almeira, who may have vital information about the crash.

PC Rod Lomas from the Bodmin Serious Collisions Investigation Unit said: “If anyone recognises the vehicle or if you are the owner, please contact the Serious Collisions Unit at Barnstaple on 101 quoting reference 710 of 21 August.”
