THE dispute between hospital workers and health bosses looks likely to end today (Friday,) with an announcement expected in the next few hours.
Unison and Northern Devon Healthcare Trust are set to make a joint statement by this afternoon, following weeks of dispute, numerous negotiations and a 48 hour strike.
More than 200 Sodexo Unison members took to picket lines outside the hospital last week calling for sick pay, better holiday rates and equal employment conditions to their NHS colleagues.
The union is meeting with its members this morning and the official announcement is expected shortly.

A scheduled rally to be held by the workers at the Square in Barnstaple tomorrow (Saturday) is still set to go ahead.
