A North Devon charity that provides accessible adventure breaks has rebranded as Calvert Devon, marking what it describes as “an exciting new era”.

Formerly known as Calvert Exmoor, the organisation, based near Wistlandpound Reservoir, says the name change better reflects its location while keeping its longstanding mission intact: to deliver “adventure without limits”.

The rebrand has been supported by Travel Chapter, whose creative team helped develop the charity’s new identity.

As part of the relaunch, Calvert Devon has unveiled several improvements to its site and services, including new lodges that sleep up to ten people, a sensory Wild Activity Garden made with recycled materials and donated plants, and solar PV panels to improve sustainability.

Other changes include upgrades to existing accommodation, a refreshed visual identity, and the arrival of resident donkeys, aimed at enhancing the equestrian experience for guests.

Centre Director Jennifer Young said: “This rebrand is an exciting milestone for us. While our name has changed, our heart remains the same. We’re here to provide adventure, challenge, and inspiration to people of all abilities – and now, with even more to offer.”

Calvert Devon is now inviting schools, organisations and members of the public to explore its updated facilities and programmes, as part of its ongoing commitment to making outdoor experiences accessible for everyone.
