House builder starts on new affordable homes for Winkleigh

A regional house builder says it will bring new affordable homes to Winkleigh for local families and deliver 23 out of 75 homes in the second phase of the High Moor View development.

Allison Homes South West has exchanged contracts and announced a partnership with housing association Aster Group to deliver the properties.

It said they will be strictly for the local market and a mixture of social and affordable rent plus shared ownership.

The company said this partnership will help meet the growing demand for good quality affordable housing for local people.

Work on the second phase of High Moor View has already started, and the first homes are expected to be available later this year.
