Carpetright has confirmed that it has ceased trading, including its store in Barnstaple. Following the appointment of Joint Administrators on 22 July, Carpetright Limited will no longer continue its operations.

Upon appointment, the Joint Administrators completed the sale of 54 stores and two logistics hubs to CWHP Ltd., a part of the Tapi Group.

These stores will be temporarily closed for a few days as they are set up to operate again. The Barnstaple Carpetright store is not included in the transaction.

Customers who have placed orders with stores that have transferred to the Tapi Group are advised to check the FAQs on www.Tapi.co.uk for further information.

For orders placed at stores not included in the transaction or online transactions, Carpetright recommends contacting your payment card or finance provider about the possibility of obtaining a refund.
