Police appeal for witnesses following assault in Barnstaple

Barnstaple authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward after a 16-year-old male sustained serious facial injuries in an assault.

The incident occurred in the Long Bridge area of the town on Tuesday, February 6, between 7.45pm and 8pm.

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
