Exeter City Football Club, in collaboration with the Exeter City Community Trust, is set to bring a wave of football excitement to North Devon during the upcoming February half term. Offering dynamic coaching sessions across various locations, the focus is on making football enjoyable while honing essential skills for young enthusiasts.
With sessions spanning multiple venues, including Barnstaple Park School and Ilfracombe Academy, participants can expect a diverse range of engaging courses. From the action-packed Match Manias series featuring small-sided games to specialised days focusing on goalkeepers, strikers, and other important football skills encompassing dribbling, passing, and teamwork – each day promises a unique blend of learning and enjoyment.
In addition to fostering a love for the game, these coaching sessions also present a potential scouting ground for Exeter City Football Club Academy. Scouts could potentially be on the lookout for exceptional local talent, offering a valuable opportunity for young players to showcase their skills.
To ensure a personalised and effective learning environment, the coach-to-child ratio is maintained at one to 15. Parents are encouraged to equip participants with suitable footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, a packed lunch, and a surplus of enthusiasm for a week of football fun.
