Bideford boss Sean Joyce
Strong win in Hampshire for the Robins
Bideford moved up to sixth in the Southern League with an outstanding 3-1 victory at Bashley.
The Robins took control in Hampshire with an opening goal on the half-hour, Rob Farkins slamming home at the far post after a clever headed assist from Ryan Turner.
Bideford doubled their lead just five minutes later, Matt Buchan exchanging passes with Jack Winsor before rifling into the bottom corner. Archie Reay confirmed the points two minutes from time before Bashley grabbed a last-gasp consolation but this was a day that belonged to the Robins.
Barnstaple Town suffered their first defeat in the Western League, going down 3-1 at Falmouth, but a solitary strike from Dan Wilson was enough for Ilfracombe Town to defeat Oldland Abbotonians.
