Single Fin TV - Credit: Wave Project
Wave Project North Devon will be screening a film night and fundraising evening on Sunday, November 12, in collaboration with Croyde Deckchair Cinema.
An evening celebrating North Devon and its surf community through a series of short films, this promises to be a brilliant event for a very worthy local cause.
A carefully curated evening of short films by incredible makers will take us to all corners of North Devon and its surf culture. Exploring surf history, conservation and celebrating the increasingly diverse lineup, join us for a journey that celebrates the rich fabric of surfing in North Devon. All funds raised will go to the Wave Project's Surf Therapy service in North Devon.
As part of this brilliant line up, the award-winning film Victory of Determination by SingleFin TV will be screened.
There will be a bar open on the night. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes. Bring your pennies to be in with the chance of winning.
The Wave Project is a children's mental health charity that supports young people when they need it the most, welcoming people from all backgrounds to access the therapeutic benefits of getting in the ocean through delivering six week Surf Therapy courses. In North Devon the Wave Project also offers outstanding Adaptive Surfing facilities and provision.
