The cast of Sleeping Beauty for this year's Queen's Theatre Panto
It is nearly that time of year again when the Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple brings you another magical pantomime and this year it is the family favourite tale of, Sleeping Beauty.
CBBC and Blue Peter’s Barney Harwood headlines this year's panto in the comical role of Lester the Jester, and returning due to popular demand, Lauren Hendricks will be reprising her role as Fairy Flora.
This enchanting, magical and ‘fun for all the family’ pantomime has a stellar cast including Sue Appleby, straight from the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, playing the role Carabosse (Malificent for those Disney fans)!
Best-selling synth pop artist Natalie Gray takes on the leading role of Princess Rose and is joined by Dereck Walker in the role of her mother Queen Camilla and Zak Marx as love interest Prince Philip. We’re told there is also a couple of surprise cast members…. ‘Oh yes there is!’.
Get ready to be transported to a world of enchantment and wonder as the Queen's Theatre Barnstaple presents its most magical Christmas pantomime yet, Sleeping Beauty.
This year, families and theatre lovers of all ages will be swept away by a breath-taking journey through a land of dreams, where curses are broken, true love conquers all, and laughter reigns supreme.
The timeless tale of love promises magic and adventure in a production bursting with energy and creativity.
The show is produced by the team behind last year’s hugely successful reimagining of Jack & the Beanstalk, RED Entertainment, and will run at the Queens Theatre, Barnstaple from 13-31 Dec 2023
