Holiday cottage offer to ash victims

BIDEFORD-based cottage specialist Farm and Cottage Holidays is offering discounts on its portfolio of 1,200 cottages, in Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall, to anyone who has had their holiday cancelled due to the ash cloud, which has grounded aircraft.

The majority of tour operators have had to cancel all departures, affecting arguably the most popular holiday departure days of the week and leaving tens of thousands of would-be travellers missing out on their hard-earned holiday.

Farm and Cottage Holidays is offering a 10 per cent discount to anyone who has had their holiday cancelled or postponed.

Holidaymakers will just need to choose their cottage and send confirmation of their cancelled holiday to secure the discount. The offer is valid for all bookings made for holidays commencing before Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Cottages start from �215 per week for a seven-night stay commencing Saturday, April 17.
