SIR - We are appealing for volunteers to help with the BBC James May event in which we will be building the longest ever miniature railway track in North Devon on the 24th August.

We are looking for the following:

1, Teams of four adults who can help us build the track on August 24. Each team should also have a team leader who is available for a few hours on the 22nd for a briefing. If you can submit a team of four, please email to the address below with four names, and a contact number and email for the team leader.

2, Adults who want to help us in a model building production line on the 22nd to contribute to the scenery around the railtrack and the rail track.

3. Kids (10 years plus and must be accompanied by an adult) who want to help us build "Blue Peter style" models in the model building workshop. Everyone needs to bring a cereal box!
