VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help deliver the Books on Wheels service to elderly and housebound people in Combe Martin.

Anyone who enjoys reading, chatting and has around four hours to spare each month could be just the person needed to select and deliver a variety of books and CDs around the village.

Volunteers would be required to undergo a police check and become a member of the WRVS voluntary service. Travel expenses will be paid and it would be useful if people were car owners drivers, but not essential.
