A vastly improved diagnosis is expected tomorrow (Thursday) as Northern Devon Healthcare Trust awaits the results of its Annual Health Check.For 2006/2007 the trust was rated as "weak" by NHS watchdog the Healthcare Commission, but expectations are much higher this time.The Commission publishes the rating of each trust after measuring it against 43 standards. "We expect to have made a great deal of progress since the 2006/7 rating of weak for quality of services and use of resources," said Jac Kelly, chief executive of NDHT.The report will be available to view from Thursday at www.northdevonhealth.nhs.uk and visit www.northdevongazette.co.uk to read more.
