Consultation on a major revamp of the region’s main road will close on July 29

People have been urged to have their say on upgrading the North Devon Link Road between Bideford and South Molton.

North Devon Council has called on people to get their views on the Devon County Council consultation in before the July 29 deadline.

Two options are on the table - to upgrade junctions at a cost of £35million, or to improve junctions and add three lane stretches in places, costing £150m.

NDC leader, Councillor Des Brailey, said: "The Link Road is vital to not only our residents, but also to our visitors, local businesses and economy.

"I want to encourage everyone to have their say in this consultation, as this is our chance to potentially shape the future of the road, which runs through the heart of North Devon."
