BRAUNTON'S 33rd annual village fair organised by the Rotary and Inner Wheel Clubs this year followed a Wild West theme - and was a rip-roaring success!A profusion of cowboys and Indians travelled the trail to the Recreation Ground, which was filled with gunsmoke as The Searchers re-enactment group performed their own version of the Gunfight at the OK Corral.Youngsters donned Wild West costumes for their annual fancy dress parade and many of the day's stalls were manned by cowboys and Indians, too!Teenage Brazilian football players who have been touring the area, hosted by local Rotarians, displayed their talents on the field with 4-0 victory over a Braunton Wanderers Old Boys team and also entertained on the stage with their rhythmic music.A wide variety of stalls raised funds for Rotary charities.
