FIRE crews were called to a Holsworthy industrial estate just before 12.30am this morning (Thursday) after receiving reports of an electrical grain cooler on fire.

Appliances from Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Torrington attended the incident at the Dobles Lane estate. On arrival they found there had been a small fire in the machine but it was thought to be out.

Crews checked the grain cooler using a short extension ladder, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.

They stood by while employees removed the mix from the cooler, which was then made safe.
