Goats get a royal welcome

Visitors name new arrivals in honour of the royal couple

A PAIR of pygmy goats born on St George’s Day at the BIG Sheep have been given a royal introduction into the world.

Visitors to the family attraction near Abbotsham have affectionately named the tiny animals William and Kate ahead of the big wedding on Friday.

The BIG Sheep will be showing the wedding ceremony live on a big screen. Young musicians from across North Devon – including 13-year-old Ellie Smith, from Barnstaple – will be busking in the barn, singing on stage and playing violins, guitars, saxophones and keyboards to create a right royal knees-up from 11am to 2pm.
