Town’s second annual endurance road run gets under way tomorrow
Runners around the region are warming up for the sold-out Barnstaple Marathon tomorrow morning (Sunday).
The second ever marathon in the town is now full and will see 1,100 runners race from the start line at Rock Park at 10am.
Among them will be elite Kenyan runners Nicholas Koech and Timon Cheruiyot who could gain professional contracts if they beat two hours 12 minutes.
The mag7Ride again team from Children’s Hospice South West will be leading out the marathon on their seven seater bike to mark the end of their epic cycle across the South West.
There will be plenty of family entertainment in Rock Park.
