A Bideford toy shop is encouraging people to dust off their dice for the NSPCC’s Really Big Board Game Day.
Staff at First Years and Beyond are getting ready for the event on Friday, and are encouraging other people in North Devon to sign up to host a fun-filled day of fundraising.
The shop in Mill Street will also donate 10 per cent of all game sales this week.
Shop owner Tracy Bayliss said: “We love to encourage the use of games which are not computer-based, to encourage social interaction.
“So when I saw the NSPCC’s Facebook post about Really Big Board Game Day, I thought it was a great opportunity to promote the use of games and support a fantastic charity at the same time.”
The day will be supported by Hasbro, with a suggested donation of £5 to take part.
