This month the North Devon Gazette is celebrating three decades of hard work from the heart and soul of our office, the wonderful Julie Williams.

Julie started working for the Gazette over in Bideford many years ago. Julie looked after motors, classified, property and we think nearly everything else over her time here. She definitely knows her way around our paper.

Julie is known by her fellow staff as very loyal, highly organised and often her hard work has gone unrecognised! She has always been a popular member of the team but does her best to avoid the spotlight.

Gazette editor, Joe Bulmer, said: “I am so glad that we can mark Julie’s 30 years at the paper at the same time as we relaunch it and give it the TLC it deserves. Julie knows what our readers want and will play a pivotal role in our new adventure with Clear Sky. On a personal note, I would like to thank Julie for all her sage advice since I joined the Gazette. I’m looking forward to many more years working with Julie!”
