Fire fighters called out to fire involving commercial waste in Northam Road, Bideford this morning (Friday).

Two LPG gas cylinders were involved in a fire next to a commercial property in Bideford this morning (Friday).

Two crews responded to numberous calls reporting the fire in Northam Road at 10.55am.

On arrival they found the fire involved commercial waste and there were two gas cylinders at the property.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used a covering jet to extinguish the fire, while isolating the electrics.

The fire, believed to be accidental, also caused a small amount of damage to the building.
