A gardener at RHS Garden Rosemoor in Torrington has paid his own special tribute to the Queens 90th birthday.Alex Davis, part of the formal gardens team. was was inspired by the turf team at Rosemoors sister garden, RHS Garden Wisley, in Surrey. The 24-year-old was determined to bring turf art to Rosemoor and the Queens crown was his first project. It needed designing and cutting at short notice - but Alex was keen to throw himself in at the deep end. He scoured the internet to look for the right, specialist equipment. The crown will be on display until the end of June, which is also the date when Alex leaves his role at Rosemoor to take up a new role at Wisley. For more North Devon stories visit our news feed here.
