Gardeners' Question Time will be one of the launch events for this year's Appledore Book Festival. It will host a home-grown version of the Radio 4 show on September 27.Chris Bailes, curator of RHS Rosemoor, will be in the chair and the panel will be: "moon gardener" John Harris, local radio gardening presenter Sarah Chesters and Nick Oliver of St John's Nursery, Barnstaple, which is sponsoring the event. Ticket holders will also be invited to visit Val Robbins' magical garden in Appledore between 10am and 2pm.
