GET information at your green fingertips when you visit the library at Rosemoor Gardens, near Torrington.Most visitors are probably unaware of the wealth of information lurking among the 1,300 books on Rosemoor shelves and available for them to browse at their leisure.The library is an arm of the famous Lindley Library - possibly the best gardening library in the world - and it aims to inform and inspire everyone with an interest in gardening, garden design, botanical art, garden history, wildlife gardening, plant hunting and more.New gardening and horticultural titles are added all the time and the catalogue includes a good current and reference selection of gardening magazines.Comfortable facilities are on offer for both browsers and seekers of gardening knowledge.The library is open seven days a week from 12 noon to 4pm and staffed by volunteers, who have access to information at the main Lindley Libraries in London and Wisley, and can help with inquiries from professional or amateur gardeners, researchers, students or the merely curious.The Lindley Library Catalogue is now available via the Internet, so it is possible to check what is available at Rosemoor before visiting.
