Frithelstock is Best Kept Village

MORE than 70 villagers attended a presentation evening at Frithelstock Village Hall on Friday to celebrate winning the small village section of the Devon Best Kept Village competition .

Judge Dr Wendy Lawrenson told the villagers that they were looking for a well cared for village, an absence of litter and were impressed with the village green, the playing field and tidy gardens, among other criteria.

Frithelstock scored an impressive 96.5 points out of 100.
