French holiday makers burgled in Northam

Police appeal after several items - including a Macbook with a French keyboard layout - were taken from holiday home.

POLICE in Bideford are investigating after a burglar stole a number of items from French holiday makers.

The burglary happened in North East Street in Northam on Friday, August 16, between 11pm and 8am the following morning.

Items stolen included an Apple Macbook laptop with a French keyboard layout, bank cards issued by a French bank and a white hooded top with a French clothing label.

Anyone who has been offered these items or has any information is asked to contact police on non-emergency number 101 or anonymously on Crimestoppers, 0800 555111, quoting reference CD/13/1543.
