The Ilfracombe classes will enable people to save money as they grown their own vegetables.

The Laston Green Growers Community Allotment in Ilfracombe will be providing free classes to interested people who want to learn how to save money by growing produce.

Janice Donovan, said: “Laston Green is a lovely spot in Ilfracombe and we are looking forward to all the activity that will be happening there in the future.

“As a keen gardener myself I know how rewarding growing produce can be – as well as being outside and enjoying the hearty exercise it involves, its great having delicious, seasonal, local and free food as a reward for the endeavour.”

The first introduction course to growing your own produce will start on Thursday August 29, between 1pm and 4pm.
