Four taken to hospital after Woolsery smash

FOUR people were taken to hospital yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon following a collision between two cars near Woolsery.

Fire fighters from Hartland and Bideford attended and had to cut two of the casualties free following the incident outside the Merry Harriers Nursery at around 3.30pm.

Despite this police said the injuries sustained were not thought to be serious.

The four taken to North Devon District Hospital were all travelling in a black Mercedes car from Essex, while the other vehicle involved was a green Peugeot from Holsworthy.
