Barnstaple shop announces winners of its summer photography contest.

A deluge of summer photographs has helped add to the North Devon Chemo Appeal total.

The Fotoworld shop at Cross Street in Barnstaple has been running a ‘Life’s a Beach’ photography competition, with all proceeds to the appeal.

Brenda Parsley won the adult section with a stunning picture showing her dog Kesha at Instow Beach, which has been made up for her in canvas. The under 16s category was won by Robin Tanner, who wins a camera.

Local photographer Graham Hobbs judged the entries and said the quality was excellent, making it very difficult to pick a winner.
