EX-England cricketer Marcus Trescothick will officially open the new changing rooms at North Molton Sports Hall next week.

The former test star, vice-captain at Somerset County Cricket Club, will unveil a special plaque in memory of Bill Rumsham, who built the club house in 1985 and the sports hall in 1997.

The ceremony, on Friday, October 2 at 7.30pm, will be followed by a ticket-only dinner dance, with the proceeds going to the Children's Hospice South West, the charity Mr Trescothick dedicated his benefit season to last year.
