Follies appeal for musicians for panto

The group is in need of a guitarist and drummer to help create a musical extravaganza in Westward Ho!

AN amateur dramatics group is on the lookout for a drummer and guitarist to get involved with its annual panto.

In October, the Gazette reported how the Westward Ho! Follies was facing possible closure after 40 years due to lack of support from the community.

Mark Clark, directing and producing the show, said since the article the Follies have had five new recruits.

“One of them is a keyboard player so we have a little live music in the show, but we are still looking for a drummer and guitarist,” he said.

Anyone interested in helping the Follies out can contact Mark on 07414 901751.
