From bungee jumps and festivals to celebrating diversity and a visiting cruise liner - it’s going to be a busy weekend in North Devon!

From a major music festival to cultural celebrations, agricultural shows and bungee jumping – there’s plenty to do in North Devon this weekend.

The weather today (Friday) may not be great but it’s set to brighten up tomorrow, so take inspiration from these things to do:

Somersault Festival

It’s North Devon’s biggest festival, with live music from headliners Laura Marling, Bombay Bicycle Club, Passenger and more. Expect everything at Somersault Festival from wild wellbeing, forest yoga sessions, fairground rides, beach bars, excursions, music, comedy and more, at Castle Hill Estate in Filleigh.

Bideford Water Festival

Dare you take on Bideford’s 175ft bungee jump? Head down to the water festival on Sunday for plenty of water-based entertainment. As well as the bungee leap you’ll find stalls, displays and more, on and off the water.

Cruise liner calling

Head to Ilfracombe on Sunday to wave the MS Prisendam into town. The 800-berth cruise liner will be welcomed by the town crier with music and more at 8am, and is due to depart again at 3pm.

Diversity Festival

Celebrate world music, dance and fashion with Diversity Festival in Barnstaple on Saturday. Head to Castle Green for a feast for all the senses – from Bulgarian folk dancing to circus skills, there will be something for all the family from 11am-5pm.

Woolsery District Agricultural Show

Woolsery’s finest show will take place at Clovelly Court on Monday, with stalls, food, crafts, shows, agricultural contests and more. Opening early, the show will culminate with a parade of vintage vehicles at 4.30pm.
