The North Devon Sinfonia will venture to pastures new when it visits Bideford on February 2 to perform its first concert in the area. Following a successful concert as part of the Two Moors Festival, which saw it team up with the professional Orchestra of the Swan, the Sinfonia returns to North Devon for a programme that combines excitement and spectacle with lush romantic melody. The concert is at Grenville College, Bideford, starting at 7.30pm Tickets are available from the orchestra's box office (01598) 710434 or via www.northdevonsinfonia.org.uk. The orchestra continues to go from strength to strength and there are more plans for the rest of their 2007/8 season still to come. At their concert at the Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe, on April 19, they will be joined by pianist Alison Farr.
