FIRE crews were called to the rescue when a tanker containing 8,500 litres of slurry lost a wheel and became unstable near Holsworthy this afternoon (Mon).
The tanker ended up blocking Trewyn Road and crews from Holsworthy as well as a heavy rescue vehicle from Middlemoor attended the scene at 1.40pm.
Crews used heavy lifting bags to stabilise the vehicle, allowing for the slurry to be decanted.
