Fire crews rescue fish and chip van

Crews from Bideford attended the single vehicle collision just after midnight.

FIRE SERVICES were called to the rescue of a fish and chip van in the early hours this morning (Friday).

On arrival, the crews from Bideford discovered the van on its side in Acre Road, Horns Cross at around 12.05am.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision and the fire crews made four gas cylinders safe.

A recovery vehicle attended and fire crews made the scene safe once the vehicle had been righted.
