Fire crews free casualty from overturned vehicle

Two fire engines were called to free a casualty trapped in a commercial vehicle on its side.

FIRE CREWS were called to release a trapped casualty after a collision outside Ley Park at Winswell Water, Peters Marland today (Wed).

Two fire engines from Holsworthy and Torrington reported to the scene around 1.30pm.

Upon arrival, crews found the commercial vehicle on its side with one person trapped.

The fire service cut the casualty free from the vehicle; no details of the person’s injuries are known.
