Film role for Shebbear student

Ollie lands role in movie ‘Tin’.

A PUPIL from Shebbear College has landed a role in a movie after a run of dramatic successes.

Form One pupil Ollie Crowhurst has been offered a role in the film version of ‘Tin’ after a successful part in the stage show.

He was approached for the role by the English Touring Company and will be starring in the film due for release next year.

Ollie also recently played Charlie Bates and two other parts in a sell-out production of Oliver Twist at the Wharf Theatre in Tavistock.

His other successes include the role of Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone and a number of solo parts in Christmas Cracker at the same venue.

Ollie is a member of the Tavistock Music Theatre Club and Tavistock Amateur Dramatic Society and is also studying with LAMDA towards a Grade 2 acting qualification.
