Father Christmas visits the Gambia

A group from the North Devon charity, Seedlings for Christ have just returned from a visit to The Gambia.

During their time at the Seedlings for Christ School, which they support, members improvised to make a Santa’s Grotto for the children.

Chris Pert dressed up as Santa using any articles of red clothing, which could be rustled up between the group, together with a paper beard.

Each of the 86 children in the school received a present from Santa. Some received a present sent over by their UK sponsors and those who did not were given presents of toys that had been donated to the charity.
