EXTREME beach cleaning is coming to Hartland on Friday.Following the international success of its marine pollution programme, the North Devon Coast and Countryside Service is extending support to more beaches and is needs helpers to reduce the hazards to marine life.In the morning volunteers will visit Blackpool Mill - the setting for the television series Sense and Sensibility - for a leisurely clean-up. In the afternoon they will work just south of Hartland Quay at Screda Cove. Skern Lodge Adventure Centre staff will remove litter with pulleys, belays and ropes because of the difficult access.The beach cleaners will meet at Hartland Quay at 10am on Friday.
