Exhibition raising money for Air Ambulance

Exhibits range from model railways and soldiers to gramophones and even a music toilet roll holder.

FROM miniature fairgrounds to gramophones dating back to 1870, an exhibition in Barnstaple will be raising money for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The exhibition, set up by John Cook and George Lovering, was opened by Barnstaple’s mayor Cllr Lesley Brown this morning.

Running from 10am-4pm until Saturday, the exhibition is free to enter and all donations will go to the trust, which is the mayor’s chosen charity.

The models are on display at the Guildhall in Barnstaple, and feature a fairground display, music boxes and gramophones, marching soldiers and model railways.
