SIR - I would like to appeal through your newspaper for help with fundraising for two charities that are very dear to me. I am on the committee of CLIC Sargent, the charity for Cancer and Leukaemia in childhood and also the local MND fundraising group which is for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. I do realise not everyone wants or is able to join a committee but there are lots of other ways we could be helped. Maybe a coffee morning or perhaps making items for stalls we have at events. Perhaps you have wonderful ideas of fund-raising or you could help us by selling tickets for our events. Every little is a big help to us, and with both of these charities all money raised in the area is to help people in North Devon.
