TWO North Devon people alleged to have masterminded an e-Bay crime ring have been charged by police and bailed to appear before Barnstaple magistrates.A 38-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, both from the Barnstaple area, have been charged with a series of offences, including money laundering, conspiracy to steal, theft and possession of cocaine.This follows a 12-month joint investigation by police and e-Bay.It is alleged that the pair were responsible for masterminding the theft of tens of thousands of pounds worth of property, including computer software, electrical goods and cosmetics from retail stores across the South West, which were then sold on e-Bay.Both have been bailed to appear before Barnstaple Magistrates on July 11.
