The famous Dulux dog paid a visit to Barnstaple to open a new decorating centre in the town.

Mayor Ian Roome cut the red ribbon at the grand opening of the Dulux Decorator Centre as part of the launch event.

During the opening North Devon Hospice also received a £250 donation of decorating supplies.

Nicola Pemberton, store manager at Dulux Decorator Centre Barnstaple, said: “The grand opening and breakfast event was a fantastic opportunity to meet local tradespeople and DIY-ers, and it was brilliant to have the Dulux dog in store as the star of the show.
