Dog taken during burglary

Pet was in trailer stolen from Ilfracombe home.

POLICE in Ilfracombe are appealing for information after a dog was stolen during a burglary on the outskirts of the town.

The four-year-old black and tan Rottweiler bitch was in a trailer that was taken during a raid at a home off the B3343, near Mullacott Cross three weeks ago.

A large number of power tools were stolen as well as the distinctive 7ft-high Ifor Williams trailer sometime overnight, between Thursday, April 19 and Friday, April 20.

Police say the owners of the dog would desperately like to be reunited with their animal.
