Police appeal for witnesses to assault where two young men on bicycles knocked disabled teenager off her bike and kicked her.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a disabled teenage girl was assault in Taw Vale.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm on Thursday, June 4.

A police spokesman said: "The young teenage girl was riding her tricycle and had just exited from Rock Park when she was approached by two male youths on bicycles.

"They threatened her before knocking her from her tricycle, and whilst on the floor they kicked her.

"The youths then left and the girl was eventually helped by a passing man and woman."

The girl sustained bruising following the assault and police said she was very upset and shocked.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or from anyone who has any information regarding the assault.
